How soon can I be seen?
We leave room everyday on our schedule to see emergencies, so you usually can be seen on the same day. We also have phone coverage 24/7 so rest assured that your phone call or message never goes unanswered. Our doctors are available for emergencies.
What’s the age range you see?
We are a family dental practice. We see people of all ages. We recommend that you bring your babies as soon as they have teeth. Our doctors have a wide scope of dental knowledge and can address any concerns or complications you might have, be it as simple as a crown, a filling, bleeding gums, to something as complicated as all-on-4 or teeth in a day, and everything else in between.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes, we have several team members who speak and write fluently in Spanish, both on the clinical and the administrative teams, so all your questions will be answered. There’s also Vietnamese and Tagalog spoken in the office.
Are you accepting new patients?
Absolutely. We love treating patients, old or new. As a new patient at Pearly Whites, your first appointment will include necessary X-rays and a comprehensive exam that includes a thorough examination of the mouth as well as cancer screening of the head and neck region, followed by an explanation of the findings by our gentle and trusted dentist. Our treatment coordinator will answer all of your financial options and help you schedule your next convenient appointment.
What do I get for referring friends and family?
Great question. We love that you trust us enough to send your friends and family. They will receive the same gentle care and attention you’ve grown accustomed to. For your effort, you will receive $50 credit on your account to be used in any way you choose or you are entitled to one session of SinsationalSmile in office whitening system plus the take home whitening pen (valued at $149).
Are X-rays necessary?
Our dentists deliver superb care but they still haven’t acquired the ability to see with X-ray vision yet. Luckily, our digital X-ray sensors use only a fraction of the amount of radiation required of traditional films, yet allow us unparalleled ability to detect diseases and other conditions much sooner than the clinical examination alone. These images allow us to see directly between the teeth and under the gums and bone that otherwise would be impossible to see.
I’m pregnant but need to come in for treatment. What should I do?
Studies show that expectant mothers with gum disease have higher rate of giving birth to premature babies or babies with low birth weight. The hormones in an expectant mother can cause her gum to be more red and swollen. We recommend more frequent hygiene visits while pregnant to increase the health of your child. If you have tooth pain, you need to be seen, because an insult to your body can directly affect your unborn child. With some exceptions, most procedures and treatments can easily be performed on expectant mothers. We will not take x-rays, but will do our best to take care of your specific need.
